Acquisitions
GCP maintains an extensive network to identify and act on acquisition opportunities in a timely manner. Our dedicated acquisitions team reviews platform opportunities and serves as the corporate development arm, working closely with management to identify acquisitions supporting strategic growth.
Accounting & Finance
Our accounting and finance team provides the expertise necessary to mature and scale businesses — from system implementation, budgeting, and forecasting to bookkeeping and reporting. Post-acquisition, we provide operational visibility and analytical support for informed decision-making.
Investment Criteria
What we look for in new platform investments and complementary acquisitions
$500K – $20M Revenue
We target lower-middle market businesses generating between $500 thousand and $20 million in annual revenue.
Flexible Structures
Both majority and minority equity investments in the form of common or preferred stock and/or convertible notes. GCP will consider mezzanine debt and other structures on an opportunistic basis.
BCSP & TIC Preferred
Greenleaf will consider all opportunities, with a preference for businesses within the Business & Consumer Services and Testing, Inspection & Certification industries.
National & Midwest
BCSP and TIC opportunities pursued nationwide. For opportunities outside these sectors, we prefer Midwest-based companies.
Partner with Operators
Within BCSP and TIC, owners have flexibility to continue, exit, or reduce workload. For other industries, we seek passionate, proficient managers who intend to continue after closing.
